Farmstay Adventures Poltehof

Take time to become in tune with nature – allow yourself to immerse yourself in nature while staying here with us at the Poltehof farm. Venture out and explore all our working farm has to offer and listen to the many stories it has to tell. This journey of discovery in itself ensures fantastic memories and learning experiences for families, especially children. Meet our friendly farm animals such as Tiroler Grauviehrind cows, bullocks, and calves, Haflinger horses, ponies, guinea pigs, bunnies, and cats.

 

 

During summer, you can visit our grazing cows at the Fisser Kuhalm alpine pasture. Our Haflinger horses spend their summers up at the Hochalm in Paznaun during the hot summer months. We are happy to go on a trip together to the Fisser Kuhalm, where our guests can learn more about life up on the alpine pastures and come and get some fresh milk to be enjoyed at breakfast. Our lovely ponies get to stay in the valley at the farm and always enjoy joining us on a trip to the lush green meadows in Fiss. All our guests can choose to experience our daily work routine first-hand by helping us make hay and get to know the many facets of life at a working farm.

 

When our animals are back at the farm in their stables, many exciting adventures await our guests here at the Poltehof. Muck out the stables and ride, feed, stroke, and milk our animals together with us. It is always very special when we are expecting offspring, and with a bit of luck, you can witness this miracle during your holiday. We love and highly value all our animals and are happy to share this love with our guests.
